Weekly Circle and Eid Gathering

01 Okt. 2009 - As a token of appreciation and thanks to all our congregation, sponsors and those who unanimously lend their helping hands throughout Ihya' Ramadhan event at MSD, JHEUI feels the obligation of having this eid gathering in conjunction with the Thursday weekly circle. A small event I would say, attended by around 80 people. Upon the performance of maghrib prayer, we had a tahlil for tukdin's brother who passed away few days back. Later, Huzaifah whom I appointed as the master of ceremony for the event took the honour by inviting our director to deliver his opening speech. The performances which came right after that involved the Soutussalam Group (our students in London), Razin (Phd candidate at IC) and me. I hope that the simpliest unplugged performance of us did manage to entertain the congregation. No special guest artists this time, just a normal local resident artists :) We moved on after that for the moreh and list of the menus includes nasi minyak, lontong, nasi himpit and kuah kacang, and varieties of traditional kuih.
