06 January 2010 - Our former director, Mr. Ahmad Ahmad Nazri has successfully led the organization into new era of administration, accommodating the positive changes and demands, accumulating the great legacy of more than 50 years of the MSD UK & Eire history, and blend it with the highly new management perspectives, which as a result, we managed to drag ourselves out of comformity circle and exposed for more ideas and aware of more preferences. It's not an easy task, in fact, the maturity of the administration has and will be tested as time goes by. On a personal note, I'm so grateful to have Mr. Nazri as my director and working with him for three years was such a great honour and tin mine rich of experiences.
Life goes on and today, Suzana and me went to Heathrow to greet and welcome our new director, Prof. Madya Dr. Rosman Abdullah, his wife, Prof Dr. Noraini Shukur and their three teenagers children. The flight at Heathrow Terminal 4 was delayed. As it was supposed to arrive at 5.25 am, instead it has been rescheduled twice and finally landed at 7.02 am. The heavy snow and all white grass along the road was his first sight once got out from the terminal. Upon arrival at MSD, the director and family was joined by other MSD personnel in breakfast. Based on my own experience, the first at London is a 'working' day, and you'll need to accomodate and acclimatize at your own pace, but it has to be a quick one. And the trend seems to capture him at heart right away. We had a meeting and briefing session with him at 2.30 pm and with a solah breaks of course, we call it a day at 8.00 pm. Whilst the snow fall outside the office tingling on the windows, with sometimes overhearing voices from outside showing that they're having some fun i.e snow ball fight, all of us choosed to be inside the building. Afterall, it's not the first time we had snow. As for this winter in London, the heavy snow joined londoners repeatedly and this was the fourth time already.
As I did update much earlier today on the FB, notifying all of his arrival, let me wish him again all the best and have a pleasant tour of duty in UK and Ireland.
